I don't know why, but the sight of waves absolutely amazes me. Maybe its because I have never lived near the ocean or have only seen them in person a few times, but when I see them I'm at a loss of words. The way they flow so naturally and in sync is incredible. They are what makes the ocean seem so alive when you are staring at it. At times they can be so fierce and violent, but at other times its as if they gracefully roll over while barely disrupting the water around them.

This picture had me at a loss for words because of how much you feel apart of what's taking place. I can literally picture myself in the water watching it all unfold. This picture portrays a lot of texture to me. The feeling of running your fingers across turbulent water is easy for me to visualize. There is no such thing as a straight line in this photo, but the way the wave curls up and funnels in, your eyes are immediately drawn to the very center. There is very little negative space in this photo, which is fine to me because I like the feeling of being right in the middle of what's going on. Color is a big part of this picture as well. All the shades of blue, teal, and turquoise all intertwine to make this picture mind blowing.
